World Premiere Today -- in 6 and 1/4 hours

I'm sitting in my hotel room, drinking my first cup of coffee with a smile on my face.

Today is 'race day'. The former competitive ski racer in me woke up an hour ago filled with a combination of adrenaline and pervading calm. Its been two and half years of day in, day out commitment with a determination to maintain an indomitable spirit. And the first moment of sharing it with the world is finally here!

There will be a whirlwind of activity today. Our productions team is getting together with the soldiers for lunch to take a moment and savor it all. Then we'll make our way over to the Tribeca Performing Arts Center (with its 920 seats), walk the red carpet, do a few interviews and make our way inside. I can't wait for the lights to go down and for the first sound from the movie to fade up.

All of you in The War Tapes community will be in my heart today, sitting there alongside us. Thank you for all your wonderful messages of support and good luck wishes!!! Your words and wishes mean so much. Each and everyone of us has a role to play in these soldiers' stories being heard as wide and far as possible. We can't do it without you. See you on the other side.
