Thank you netroots and milroots! The Premiere, without precedent, sold out!

Wow -- I just checked the Tribeca website and it says that the 900 seat theater for the Premiere of the War Tapes is DOOR SALES ONLY -- that means sold out online and by phone, and the only way you can get in is if you go stand in line the day of and hope to get lucky.

This does not happen with documentaries. This does not happen with 900 seat theaters for movies made by unknown soldiers. The only way this is happening is your incredible word of mouth.

Thank you to the bloggers (e.g., Blackfive, Andi of Andi's World, Greyhawk of Mudville Gazette, Paul Rieckhoff of IAVA, c-square, Sean Coon and bold brave courageous) and Soldiers Angels New York and everyone who told their friends. This is unprecedented.

There are still three shows with tickets available (the last show is sold out too) -- let your friends know, so they can be there for the beginning of a net-roots, mil-roots, phenomenon.

The more people that can be there for the first shows, the more likely we can make sure it gets to your city for the theatrical run.
